Whole Self Counselling is a space for you to get to know yourself better, learn and practice healthy boundaries, set and work towards goals, and break free from patterns or cycles of thoughts, behaviours or experiences that have been holding you back. FREE 20-minute
telephone consultation
The 20-minute phone consultation is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about therapy, how we might work together, and for us to assess whether we might be the right fit. Please come prepared to tell me a little bit about yourself and what brings you to therapy, but keep in mind that this is not a therapy session, so I don’t encourage any deep sharing at this stage, to ensure you’re not activated into unmanageable feelings that we can’t process and follow up on together in session.
Free consultations are all held via telephone voice call, and will take place at a pre-agreed time that we will arrange in advance, via email. Please ensure that you are in a quiet, and confidential space, as you may be asked to share some personal information that would enable us to work together whilst on the call. There is no obligation to commit to therapy with me at this stage.
Regular counselling
sessions - IN PERSON
If after our consultation call we agree that we might be a good fit, we can then schedule a full 50-minute counselling session. This is an opportunity for you to tell me more about your current situation, your past, and what you want from therapy. There is still no obligation to enter into therapy with me at this stage, and I encourage you to take your time to reflect and consider whether I might be the right therapist for you.
Ongoing sessions will take place at the same time and location each week, however depending on need, and the focus for therapy, session frequency may be adjusted on a mutually agreed basis.
I understand that life can be busy, and somethings we might need therapy to fit around our busy lives, so if you work shifts or need more flexibility with your ongoing sessions, please get in touch and I will accommodate this wherever possible.
I predominantly offer medium to long term depth work - particularly if the focus of your therapy is trauma or abuse - however I do also offer short-term focussed work. This will be considered and discussed at the start of therapy.
£65 per 50 minute session**
*I offer a limited number of reduced rate sessions to students or low income individuals - please get in touch if this applies to you.
**For trauma or longer-term therapy, I am happy to offer a bulk session discount. Please reach out via email.
I hold the majority of my sessions in-person. Face-to-face counselling sessions take place in Sheffield City Centre, the exact location will be shared with you after we’ve had an initial consultation call to assess rapport and suitability. Please note parking is available, however this is paid on-street parking, or there are a number of city centre car parks near by.
The room and building are wheelchair accessible, however unfortunately there are no accessible toilet facilities onsite.

If you would prefer to have sessions online, online sessions will be video calls held via Google Meet, with a personalised meeting invite sent to you via email before each session.
